School Sports Information

Trottier Middle School has an interscholastic sports program for field hockey, boys and girls basketball, softball and baseball. If your child is planning on participating in this program, Massachusetts state law requires a physical examination within the year for all interscholastic sports. A copy of his/her physical must be in the health office before your child can participate in this program.

Health Insurance

Do you need health coverage or help paying for it?

In Massachusetts there area several low cost and free health coverage programs available to families and children through MassHealth.  In fact, MassHealth also offers programs specifically designed for working families.  For example, if you are working but feel your private insurance is too expensive, MassHealth may be able to help pay for part of your premium costs.  If your children do not qualify for MassHealth, they may be able to get coverage through the Children's Medical Security Plan.

These programs can help cover costs for things like well-child checkups, physicals for sports, prescription drugs and emergency care.

To learn more about MassHealth or the Children's Medical Security Plan
please call:  1-800-841-2900.

There are also numerous free clinics in the surrounding towns that provide free medical care to the uninsured and under-insured.  If you would like information on these clinics please contact me.
