Dear Trottier Families:
As we begin 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on the first half of the school year and share my appreciation for our students and community.
Our students have been truly impressive. Their hard work, effort, and willingness to support one another have been evident each day, and I am incredibly proud of what our Trottier students bring to our school community. I hope that over the long break, families found time to re-energize, relax, and connect with family and friends while enjoying the holiday season. The extended break was certainly needed.
If your household was anything like mine, routines may have shifted a bit — later bedtimes, sleeping in, and a pause from the usual school-year rhythm. As we return, that transition back can be challenging, and we appreciate your support in helping students ease back into routines that set them up for success.
Looking ahead, the end of the first semester will arrive quickly, closing at the end of January. This time of year often brings an increased push to complete coursework, projects, and assessments. Please continue to support your child with long-term planning, time management, and organization as we approach the semester’s end.
As always, we have a busy start to the year. Our basketball season is already in full swing, and before we know it, February conferences will be upon us. Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support.
Lastly, I would also like to extend a special thank-you to our eighth-grade team and SOS for their support of the Door Wars activity held on the half day before break. It was a fun and positive way to bring our students together before the holiday recess.
Let's make it a great one!
